Bad news for the Digital Signage Market in France

Two of the main DS operators have been placed under the protection of the court (Chapter 11) facing financial troubles. One is Novax, the first supplyer of drugstores in France; the second is Cyber Vitrine, which bought Jidea two years ago. Judgements of courts for both companies are officials since last april.
Those news, concomitants the same month, get a reputation as a bird of ill omen for the digital signage market in France.

Meeting with Graeme M Gibbs, from Sony Ericsson
Graeme is in charge of the Music and Digital area of Sony Ericson Spain. 
He is the best specialist I've never met who could explain easily which are the best formats to store music on mobile devices and (the most important point), to listen it with the best sound.
Graeme has also contributed to write two albums : The Death Of My Soul (2003) and Tears And Rage (2004).

Murdoch veut s'offrir Dow Jones
News Corp. a créé la surprise hier en proposant une offre d'achat pour 5 milliards de $ aux actionnaires de Dow Jones, l'éditeur du Wall Street Journal. L'intention du magnat australien serait de renforcer son pôle de contenus financiers, en vue du lancement en fin d'année de nouvelle chaîne de TV : Fox Business Channel. Celle-ci sera concurrente directe de Bloomberg TV.
Les actions de Dow Jones, qui sont concentrées majoritairement entre les représentants de la famille Bancroft, ont subitement atteint une valeur inattendue. Pour autant, la famille n'est pas toute d'accord pour céder maintenant.
Mise à jour (4 mai 2007) : le Conseil d'administration de Dow Jones a refusé hier soir l'offre de Murdoch.
